"Black Out Black Friday!" is a zine about workers' rights and considerate consumption. In the United States, the Friday after Thanksgiving has become synonymous with images of shoppers in a chaotic scrum and the service workers expected to endure long hours for little return. As many of these same workers discuss the prospect of mass walkouts and call on shoppers to avoid stores completely, "Black Out Black Friday!" points out the ways in which we all must deal with exploitative business practices and the best ways to counteract them.
